Statement Projects: Blending Form, Function & Garden Architecture
Some outdoor spaces call for more than off-the-shelf solutions. At Jordan Metalwork, we’re increasingly working with clients who want their gardens and landscapes to reflect more than personal taste, they want them to showcase craftsmanship, originality, and quiet confidence in personal design.
Our statement projects are a celebration of that approach. They combine the practical demands of outdoor spaces - durability, safety, structure - with the added task of creating a strong visual identity and architectural presence for the client.
Take, for instance, our recent bespoke installations at Tamar Nurseries. We were asked to design and fabricate two striking woven steel benches, one with an integrated planter, blending seating with soft landscaping in a way that feels both sculptural and inviting. These pieces were designed to encourage visitors to pause and interact with the planting, while also serving as focal points within the nursery's outdoor display garden. Woven in our signature style and left to weather naturally, the benches are already developing a soft orange patina that anchors them beautifully in their surroundings.
Elsewhere, in Thornham and Ringstead, we’ve created a series of woven fencing installations and handcrafted gates that do more than mark an entrance, they redefine it. Each project reflects the environment it inhabits, from rural retreats to modern courtyard spaces, blending design and function in ways that enhance the overall aesthetic of their landscape.
When clients approach us with bold ideas or challenging spaces, that’s where we thrive. With over 90 years of combined experience in metal fabrication and finishing, our team specialises in turning concepts into enduring works of functional garden art.
Whether you’re a landscape architect, property owner, or designer looking to bring something unique to life, we offer a collaborative process from design to delivery. Our bespoke metalwork isn't just made to measure - it’s made to last.
